Many people think that to love themselves, they have to take specific actions.
So, they start eating healthier, maybe they diet or exercise. These are all external actions. What about the internal?
We need to align ourselves with the frequency and the feelings of love and appreciation.
In my experience, actions are only in alignment when they come from a loving place. We CAN’T force ourselves into peace by external action.
Peace with our body doesn’t come from impatience, discouragement, and disgust. I know this seems obvious. But then why do so many women shame their bodies & put themselves on an endless journey to fix their bodies that weren’t ever broken, to begin with?
Finding peace and self-compassion is an inside job.
